These are encapsulated thermochromic dyes, which change color according to temperature and reverse to their original color on cooling down to the threshold temperature.
The thermochromic dye causes the change of color by the heat induced chemical structure change. Since the dye is very sensitive to the external environment, it is encapsulated in compatible resins for increased protection and durability.
Needs temperature range for color change: 0 - 70 °C

These are encapsulated photochromic dyes, which change color on exposure to UV / Sunlight and reverse to their original color when the light source is blocked. The photochromic dye causes the change of color by ultra violet induced chemical structure change. Since the dye is very sensitive to the external environment, it is encapsulated in compatible resins for increased protection and durability.
